I think so, I also think it would be another highlight to being a master pistoleer.

I also thought this should go for carbine, and rifle too.

To be honest, I do notthink anyone but a master artisan or a sem-good weaponsmith should even have a chance.

Let's face it, if you repair every few days (and that's gaming A LOT), your gun will last at least a week...

They last too long as it is...

Yes, I think they should get a slight bonus. I play guitar, I can not "craft" a guitar but could fix basic problems. Maybe we should get a "quick fix skill" heals something like 50 points of damage and can be used 5 times on each weapon.

WellI think we should indeed get a slight bonus on repairing. The reason why is, it doesn't take a gunsmith to clean, inspect, and replace basic parts of a weapon.

Also, how many weaponsmiths do you see that will repair a weapon for you? instead of selling you a new one? Most weaponsmiths have a strict no-repair policy for a reason.

And I do not think degredation needs to be sped up. 2 days of hard combat can ruin decrease the weapon from 1000 to 500-600. Just 2 days of combat.
