Thread: Would it make more sense to get Pistol Whip before training Novice Bounty Hunter?
I have the 40k combat ready to train Novice Bounty hunter for the Pistol branch.
Would it make more sense to use that 40k and get an additional 20k for Pistol Melee D now, then train Novice Bounty Hunter.
How valuable is Pistol Whip? Will it enable me to level faster?
Thanks!
Pistol Whip is great. I am getting getting it before novice BH. I am in the same position as you, skill points wise, and I know the sooner you get Pistol Melee Defense 1, the better. It Will in fact help you level faster, and it's probably the best skill you learn with a pistol. Right now it is my priority over anything else.
I am actually more confused as to where I should put my Pistol Experience first. I guess it will be going into Tactics for the Body Shot 3, but i was curious if I'd be better off saving the exp and getting the BH skills first, since tier 4 is torso shot, which is same as BS3 but with a DOT. And the 1st BH skill will get me another bleed, which would be nice. If I'm not mistaken, After the BH tree would i have3 bleeds to stack and 1 wound bleed, to keep people from coming back to PvP so fast. I'd like to hear someone else's opinion on which tree to level up first as well. Not just the pistoleer trees, but the order of importance including the BH pistol tree.
save for pistol whip, it is your bread and butter, then go up the bh pistol tree for all the bonuses in stats. THen do the rest of the pistoleer trees.

Agree. If you go the way of BH, honestly BH pistol is better for PVP yeah, and the acc. mods overall are better, still. Stopping shot rocks, and so does Fan shot. If you havent tried fan shot, dont comment because it is great! Multi-target howeverr... well lets hope that is fixed in next update.
