I would like to know becasue if there is not, there really isnt a reason for me to go bounty hunter, and i will be mad if i spend all that time getting to BH to only find that speed is capped and I wasted 100+ skill points, Due to SOE's lack of information.

Someone recently posted in one of these forums that he has a displayed pistol speed of 129 and tested a speed 2.2 pistol and found that it was firing every second. It would be nice to here confirmations from others, but the poster was pretty adamant about it working.

very curious about this myself for the same reason. I made a post about this a few days ago, but didnt get a definitive response. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

Yes there is a cap. The cap is one and half times of thenext highest level, that you have not yet achieved.

For example, if you are trying to get a skill in the second tier of pistoleer, which is 250k xp. (if I remember correctly) you can accumulate 375k xp in pistol xp, before you cap out. Once you hit the 375k mark, you won't get any xp til you either 1) purchase the highest skill available, or 2) purchase a skill with a lower xp requirement. (if you were taking skills in something likesmuggler)
