with the upcoming fix for elemental dmg, will a pistol with lower dmg, and 100 elemental dmg do more dmg than a high dmg 0 elemental dmg one?
basically, i just spent 5mil on a new FWG5, (very nice I may add
) and I'm unsure if I should keep some spare money to buy a repub blaster htat has elemental.
can anyone clarify just how elemental works? is it like adding 65 (or whatever value) to your dmg?

the way I understand it (which could be incorrect) you have the maximum damage of the weapon and the elemental damage is added to that in some manner unknown to me and it's countered by any resists or armor that the enemy may be utilizing.
My suggestion would be to save some money and see what happens.
