ok, after a lot of messing about with template ideas and jedis etc im planning on going back to the stuff that got me hooked on swg in the first place....shooting the hell out of things!

ive 99% settled on pistols as a starting point of my template.

i have to keep 24 pts in force stuff to keep my alt char

my ideas so far

1) master pistols, master bh, jedi defence x4xx

this would give me the root etc from pistols as well as dualist stance and critical hits from bh to allow me to do damage as well as major ranged defences from the jedi skills (no powers there so i will be ok in armour)

2) master pistols, master cm, jedi defence x4xx

will give me good healing, fire, and ed

3) master pistols, master commando, jedi defence x4xx

i used to be commando and loved it but im thinking that i am limiting myself to just the pistols specials here although some of the commando weaps are fun to play with.

also can anyone think of a better way to use 28 skill points than take the extra defence from jedi? ive been playing with a char builder and thats about the best i can think of...or is a line of medic worth taking these days? im fairly sure that with dualist stance/armour/ruby and some good stims i should be ok.

im leaning toward the 1st option as this will ive me great offencive specials as well as root/snare from pistols as well as the ranged acc and speed being general in bh.

your thoughts/flames/opinions all welcome, tonight im gonna start on some grinding (after i drop a half finished jedi template)

thats not a prob, atm the char is half completed jedi, i can drop what i dont need and grind in the none jedi stuff no probs.
