Thread: MP/MBH/Carb0440?
Having said all that...
If you ARE planning on being a Jedi hunter, I would absolutely recommend going MBH/MP or MBH/MC and adding some CM in your template...either 4xxx or xxx4. You will be a lot more dangerous to a Jedi with healing in your template than you will with the template you suggested. Just my opinion, and I admit that I have never in my life hunted a single Jedi as a BH.
Wont make a real difference, if you have to heal during a Jedi fight you are dead already. There are two succesful ways of Jedi fighting, the paddy gank or the sneak and shoot. Either you fight paddies and come in blazing, taking them out in mere seconds (only works on low level jedi), or you wait until the target Jedi is being mobbed by wildlife and then join in (good for high level Jedi).
Any other way of fighting is very hazardous to your health.

Actually it's nearly impossible to take down a completed template without some form of healing, even if it's stims and ruby bliel. It IS possible to win a long fight with a Knight, it just takes some skill. And any time you can combat a Jedi's healing, it's a good thing--just make sure you're beating him in damage output.

I have this template as well. I enjoy the damage dealing with being able to spam adv critical. I find myself switching between my kryatt scatter and proton carbine in most cases. IMHO the specials at MP seem to bemore usefulthan those offeredat Master Carbs, maybe someone can provide their input on that. With the skill tapes on my bando I'm around 125+ on speeds for both weapon types and 260+ range for accuracy. I'm holding my token respec to see the benefits of CM 4xxx in the next patch.
I'm a pistols guy at heart, I have been using them in character templates since beta. But, the range difference and benefits of CM may cause me to change.

Tried MBH/MP/cm 4000, but honestly i missed the accuracy of carb 0400 and improved leg shot, a very good special when combined with a knockdown, leg shot, improved critical shot, and since i am a speed freak( 175 speed now) i can normally place both the critical and the leg shot before the target gets up...
for normal PVE, with a fairly fast pistol, this is probably one of the most all out offensive pistol based templates around.
Ehh...how are you at 175 speed with that template? With MBH/MP + FS Ranged Speed tree, you would be at 117. Add +25 General Ranged Speed and +25 Pistol speed and you are at 167. Where did you pick up the extra +8 in speed?
EDIT: After playing with the calc I realized that you cant even get 117 speed with that template unless you dropped to CM 3xxx, so that would mean 111 speed, with the tapes up to 161. So where did the extra +14 come in? Or did I miss something?
