It aint that bad, Rifles while standing suck (Edited), while prone they are nice. Also everyone can now use everything so really it aint that imbalancing.

20m range is not enough compensation for only being effective while prone.
What's the difference between the proffessions then?
graphics? esp carb and pistoleer?
I would personaly go in the opposit direction, more specialization for each proffession.

1- But I am basically throwing out the idea of a Riflebased profession, a Carbine based profession, and a Pistol based profession. Instead Sharshooter(Sniper is too limiting a title), Mercinary, and Gunslinger will be based on using all 3 weapon classes. That means maybe Master Sharpshooter has a Carbine cert along with a rifle cert. Also maybe Master Mercinary has a pistol cert along with a carbine cert. And something to blow this board up, maybe Master Gunslinger has a rifle cert along with a pistol cert.
Rifles will be a situational damage dealer. So maybe as a Master Gunslinger/Mecinary/4-0-0-0 Doc, you go prone, root, and then wack away at your advesary with your rifle. Or If you are a Sharpshooter/Commando(Like you), you go prone, cover, sneak up on your enemy, wack them with a couple conceal shots or a sniper shot and switch to that PFT to tourch em for getting too close..
2- The diffrence between professions should be specials and modifyers. The CU has moved in this direction halfassed anyway, I'm just completing the path. Weapons would not longer be what defines you as an elite profession, instead you will pick and choose your weapon as you wish.
Acttually a Commando Sharpshooter gains in this system, because the excuse "You guys got rifles, we can't boost your(Sharpshooter-Rifleman) special's Direct Damage Modifyers" is thrown out the window. Everyone has rifles now, and carbs, and pistols. So now a Commando usingSharpshooter specials will definately be a 5 in offence, because the dev's will have to make specials the defining factor.
