does anyone know what NPC drop these weapon pieces,,,, they are used to make better tangle pistols,,

You can loot them at the Tusken Fort. I got some earlier, but they weren't any good. You want to get the Advanced Projectile Feed Enhancers. Those are the good ones.

I got 5 real good ones in the new loot of the rebel theme park. was the first prize from threepio.

what is the max damage you can have on the enhancers? I have some with +20 damage.

Its quite simple. Kill Nyms pirates on Lok. They drop the vibro units, projectile feed enhancers and power handler deals. I've seen a grouping as large as 6 drop from them before. usually 1 or 2 but if you're lucky you can get a big haul.

The Gorax on Endor drops bone shards. Weaponsmiths can use these to enhance PFM's. They come with the same stat's as a Krayt's tissue, at least the one I saw was max 30.

The3PO gives 5 High Velocity Feed Mech, with:

Min Dam. +20

Max Dam +25

Speed - .7

Are they any good?

They are good if you are near master pistoleer or have the pistol line in bounty hunter since you are close to speed cap and you are looking for max damaged and not speed at this point.

I have a one of the new dx2s with one made with this and wow it kicks butt, plus i throw on a nice max damage power up and wow i have almost a krayt fwg5 i had that blew up on me because i didnt know repair tools are borked..

with that 16m it makes the dx2 so nice now..
