Many of us pisoleers are still using the weapons given to us under marksman. Give us a new pistol that is really good when we climb high in the pistoleer ladder...one that can be fast AND have high dmg. Give us a gun to use like Han's or let us use 2 pistols!

I just wanted to add that the same thing goes for all calsses. No class gets a new weapon past novice XXXX. May I also say that a pistol shouldn't have high damage. Speed yes, for sure, but damage no.

They are finally adding some new weapons into the game.A new pistol for us, the Genosian Sonic Blaster, a DXR6 rifle for the riflemen and the Scythe for Swordsmen. I believe they're coming with the next publish. While it's not a lot at least it's a step in the right direction.

those should all be out when the cave opens ina week or so. But the only problem is the Drx6, and sythe are schematics, and to my knowledge no one has looted a schematic on test. Just the actual gun, and stats very alot.

Eff that! We should have a pistol at master capable of more than 200 dmg.

If we dont get a pistol that does higher damage or has medium AP or a shot that does high damage, we suck in PvP and always will. Our shots get mitigated, and armor removes the bulk of what is left so we hit for 50 damage. Thats great. Meanwhile I get hit with Advanced Straffe shot with 90% resist armor from a t21 for 1k. And then I die. DPS is totally screwed. And Pistoleers suck in PvP against good combat templates, 3k doc buffs, and Sliced Composite armor. Maybe tey might give us a pistol that has at least a high Minimum damage that might help.

I know that some people may not like the idea, but I would be all for duel weilding pistols even if it dropped our max range by half. According to the description of a pistoleer, we should be unstoppable at close distances (although NOT point blank..thats where brawlers are supposed to rule.) With a 50% reduction on max range or just bash the long distance accuracywhile doing it and give us duel weilded pistols so we can do damage in a close quarters. This would give pistoleers a reason to be feared, Imagine facing someone who has a pair of modified republic blasters with each over 400 max damage (skeedoozy has posted screenshots of his on chilistra so I KNOW they can be made.) Now who wouldn't be afraid of that...

You know...I do pretty well in PvP most of the time. I am a master pistoleer with DF4. However, when I do run into someone with 90% comp, doctor buffs and mind buffs I just can't take them down. I think it may be impossible to do the way mitigation and damage is calculated. With all professions at the one second speed cap, there is NO advantage to using a pistol or being a pistoleer. We just don't pack enough of a punch to take down someone who is prepared for combat.

That's because the speed calculations are asinine and should be fixed. Will they? Of course not, so we're stuck with 1 second spamming for all master weapon professions so damage vs weapon speed just means nothing.
