Well I am not real sure where you are going....
To drop pistoleer to get carbines is a moot point. Pistols are better than carbines and you are not saving anything that way (same points). So I would say NO to that.
You want a great PVP build, yet you want to throw in BE on one character and dancer on the other. You are diluting what one would consider a PVP build and will never be the best at it.
Maybe what you meant was that you wanted to add some pvp to your regular characters. If that is the case I would build on the UA4 and get smuggler 4 and work up pistoleer. That should leave enough that you can play with dancing also.
With BE and politician, that char is pretty full as it is (and you probably don't want to drop either of those).

Yeah the PvP aspect isn't gonna be some mega combat template. Basically all my PvP will be in a group and therefore I want to be able to support that group well. Plus have a chance against people if I have to go 1on1 - especially against people who dabble with PvP ( in my experience the majority in group engagements ). I got the feeling both in my experience so far ( the BE is currently 0/0/2/1 pistoleer ) and this forum that pistoleer just doesn't do the damage needed or have the specials needed ( ranged KD for instance and a nice pausing shot ). Therefore I need something to support it. Hence thinking about Smuggler on the dancer as she has the SP's. My BE will be going MBE, Novice Politions, Master Pistoleer or Carbineer. Then any other bits the spare points allow me.

Doign the following....
I have two chars, a BE ( nearly Master ) who is also polition and pistoleer and a general char who has UA4, bit of dancing.
Obviously I can't support Pistoleer with say smuggler on the BE char due to SP's whilst I can on the Dancer.
Would I therefore be better off dropping pistoleer on the BE guy and going Carbineer. Then doing Smuggler/Pistoleer on the Dancer?
