Am I mistaken, or does Pistoleer have no knock down capabilities. The only Pistol related Knockdown I see is Low Blow in Smuggler.

try Pistol Melee Defense 1

it works well - you just have to be close

dont worry about tkm's, as long as you dont use a Republic blasters, the accuracy of that gun blows

Use it on a TKM.

Just know if you have to use it you probably made a serious flaw somewhere though....

The fact is a pistoleer vs a tkm in a knockdown fight will win. As one of them has sizeable defenses against such ,and the other does not.

But undoubtedly the last place as a pistoleer you want to find yourself is kd'ed in front of a TKA.

I use the Pistol Melee Defense 1against any animal that attacks. Then I pump them with close ranged shots. It is great.

NPCs also fall often to this trick.

I have even knocked down Torton on Rori.

That Torton thing is my new way of making xp. Started doin' it awhile ago, now, I just don't play. Think I'm the only person from release days without a single master title ever.

i played since launchand i still don't have master anything...

just hit trickshot a few days ago, infact...

i socialize and lolligag too much to be a master yet.
