Thread: Which (enhanced) gun to use while leveling?

For energy damage, talking about Krayt enhanced guns. Either Republic Blaster/Improved Republic blaster or Scout Blaster.
Generally the Rep blaster (and especially the improved) is the best gun IMO (higher damage and AP1), but accuracy is bad and is slower.
Neither is probably a problem at master/higher levels but I miss a lot with RB now (only marksman pistols 2 or so though).
Also, do you have a problem with accuracy on rep. blaster at higher levels? I am thinking of using an advanced scope, experimented on range (high HAM cost).
I feel very tempted to use the +101 tissue I have for a Scout :-).

i use a krayted scout blaster (29% dmg sliced) as my primary weapon.
104-284 1.6s 11-22-11HAM
i chose the SB cause it needed only 1 tissue to craft (rep needs 3 identical), is faster and way lower on HAM.

Yeah scout I think is more used and available anyway, I just bought myself a sliced 0.9 71-177 one to bring down most of my shots to the speed cap until i make up the xp to master.
Also you can get really nice rep blasters anyway, got one 2.1, 83-276 (sliced, no krayt or anything) for when somethings got armor or when i finally make up the combat xp - this ones a beaut for low-med HAM high xp critters, pmd1 followed by stopping or fan shot will one shot kill half the stuff out there, even tuskens only take a few hits of fan or bs2 once they've been whipped to the ground

Republic Blasters tend to deal out more XP per kill, but if you're going for a better overall weapon, Scout Blasters are probably the way to go, although I've found that decent pre-nerf FWG-5s have nice overall stats as well, if you can find one with all the advanced parts you're talking about.

Why waste enhanced guns on leveling? It's only going to save you a finite amount of time, as compared to the condition lost on guns that (after the next patch, due to the nerf to the crafting system) could be worth a fortune.

cause they are relatively cheap.
you can get single tissues for 50-100k with half decent stats. they can only be used in D18, DL44 and SBs. since all other guns that can be krayted need at least 3 (1 for schemantic and 2 for the power handlers) its halfway easy to get a hand on spare tissues.

Condition lost is not that big problem. People seem to forget about using a repair kit (as long as the guns is not destroyed the loss in max cond is not that bad. Omly failed repair once in 6 months).
I found another solution. I am going to get a pre-nerf FWG5 with 386 max dam :-).
Also made a Scout blaster from a left-over +30 tissue and a dl44 metal from a failed krayt handler (only 50 max dam but a boost to speed)
