I was curious so I picked up novice commando to use the launcher pistol with my master gunfighter. It's not really worth it. AT-STs may be vulnerable, but they're still quite a challenge. The lack of armor piercing and other pistol bonuses has steered me away.

I'm headed straight for BH pistol 1-4 now. Although I'll miss the spectacular explosions of the launcher pistol, I'll be glad to get the scatter pistol, which seems like an improvedDX2.

I'm going for Master Pistoleer, BH Pistols 1-4, Novice Ranger 0-0-1-0. Think it'd be worth getting investigation 1-3 instead of the ranger?

I'd only go the investigation line if you are involved in the GCW, if that is the case go Investigation 2. This will allow you to do your part in taking down a faction base. If you were thinking about doing it for the Ranged Mitigation 2, you already have that at Expert Stances. It's also a pain getting the investigation XP.

I am with you on the BH call. I am currently playing with some other professions, but once I am done, I am going to pick up BH so I can see what a Scatter does withMaster Gunfighter fanshot. From the weapons I have examined, I know one thing: It's going to pull action HAM like a madman if I find one with decent speed.

I'll probably wind up dropping Master Pistoleer since I really want to get my hands on the LLC and play with carbines again, but I will be retaining skills from Pistoleer until I can't stand pistols any more.
