Just like to say hi to fellow Pistoleers.
I have been Mst Doc and TKM for2 months now, dropped TK as my Holi said do pistoleer, and I have to say Im really enjoying it, it seems kinda StarWarzy to me using Pistols
and I'd like to keep Pistoleer period.
Just some thoughts and a question or two, I was lucky to have 300k of combat XP saved up from TKM so has got me to level 4 in stances veryquickly(gave me a jump to level 2) i am currently 0 4 4 4, obviously can buff myself at will. My primary concern is PVP and tackling CMs being a Doc, beingTKM just didn't cut it as I have to be up close and personal like and Comp Armour in PVP your next to useless anyway, not good for a Doc in my view. I thought about Rifleman but high mind costs put me off (try hitting cure posion like 5 times and you know why) Pistols is great due to the lower Mind costs. I have been reading this board about the concern about supposed not working specials and more to the point the Descriptions not being right LOL which i have seen, is this a big big problem at Master Level do you all think? I am primarily after CMs in PVPthat ismy main role and I also have to heal/rez so cant be a rifleman due to mind costs, so what im asking, is a Mst Pistoleer equipped enough with Fan Shot et al to waste a CM/Rifleman combo or at least compete with them? I know there are a lot of random factors in PVP i.e whose with you, food buffs, armour etc etc, but is the matchup a reasonable one or too much of a mismatch?
Pistols like lightsabres are Star Wars through and through!what are these Vibro Knucklers thingies anyhow

Why hate on us CM's? I'm a pistoleer as well and let me tell you, I've had fun with it. Just remember to check this board often to see what the status on our specials and capabilities is. Once you figure out what works and what doesn't, you can work around the broken parts pretty easy. I'm not a Master yet, but I fell that once I do, I will have a VERY tough choice of either giving up CM or Pistoleer to continue the Holo-Grind.

There's quite a nice boost from master. I think you'll want to keep it
......Especially with the potential for a pistoleer fix in the future.

Hi Seck of course I hate CMs I am Mst Doc mate
being the only profession that can truly newt a CM and his nasty potions our guild tactics are set so the we have a doc hit team that hunts out the enemy's CMs, they die first thenour CMshelp us win pure and simple
First rule of group PVP nail CMs, nasty critters.

that depends on your equipment.
the new geno blaster seems to be SWGs new PvP weapon of doom. with decent stats you should be able to fan your fellow enemies at speed cap. the stun dmg really helps.
if you have some spare points and havent surrendered unarmed4 yet maybe some skills of the DF line (Smuggler) would help in PvP.
Panic Shot (DF2) is a nice (but soon to be nerfed) ranged area delay.
Low Bow (DF3) ranged knockdown - nothing more to say

I dropped master doc to continue my holo grind... kept the TKM. With all the weak buffs i been getting lately I wish i could change that decision but oh well.. Pistoleer need to have its specials and weapons fixed then this would be a great profession
