The sucky thing about these is that they are really common, but armor decays so fast that if you had a really nice say, Pistol speed attachment, you put it in a piece of armor and a month later that armor is toast (and there goes the attachment).
well, I've found two or three articles of armor that won't decay:
- Ubese Bandolier
- Ubese Shirt
- Padded armor Belt (sure, this will decay, but with resists in blast and restraint, it's only going to take damage if you get hit with a launcher pistol or a powerhammer and don't have any other armor on)
just thought I'd pass this along, I've found +21 to speed in the past week from three AA's and I didn't want to lose them... so I tossed them into these armors and BAM! I don't have to worry about decay.

Even better is encumbrance.
Ubese Bandolier doesn't have any encumbrance costs.
Mabari Armorweave Belt offers the same ability.
I can wear all my armor attached items without the heavy encumbrance costs.
Besides, the Ubese Bandolier looks pretty sweet over a Comp Chest anyways.
However, since most people have to wear a backpack, the bandolier is a major inconvenience, but if all you do is fight, and you have great attachments you'd like to use, then that is a great option.
