It was fixed.

I just bought a few DX2s that are +46 at the ideal range of 18 meters. That's a HUGE improvement over the -10 or so that it used to be at ideal range.

Is the DX2 still considered hopelessly inaccurate? I heard rumors it had been fixed...

the dx-2 is now a far superior pvp weapon then the republic blaster . the dx-2 is more accurate in close and mid range , its damage per second is about the same as republic blaster but when you factor in mitigation its head and shoulders above the republic blaster . as far as damage type i guess they are even cause acid and energy are probably equally resisted in pvp . the only disadvantage i see in the dx-2 is that it requires 2 more tissues then the republic blaster . saying that a good geo blaster would be in a different leauge then these two .

I just picked up a DX2 and I love it. I'm all PvE so I can't really relate to any PvP action. But I'm definitely able to bring down beasties easier than before and only see accuracy issues when at extreme range. But that's to be expected.
