Howdy my fellow Pistol packin' Gunfightin' gamers.

I need some answers.

I really want to know when Pistoleers are going to get some love. The FAQs and all the good work that the corrospondant is doing doesn't really tell us anything.

I am just about ready to drop Pistoleer and Smuggler and move onto greener pastures, but some of us have been able to make the best of a bad situation for the love of the game, and the love of the profession, but nothing is worse than seeing other classes make better use of our specials than us.

Dabblers are what the game is made of. I have no issues with that. This whine is not meant to attack any of the awesome BHs who utilize the Pistol specials to their liking. I feel I have done well withwhat I have been given, and the Geno Pistol is all they said it was and more.

However, I just really am tired of using the same 5 specials and I would really like a clear answer as to when changes will be made if any. I love being aPistoleer and I love being a Smuggler. I am a few boxes from TKA so it's not like I aint havin any fun, but a realisticguesstimate would really be great.

Hey bro, I kinda find it hard to believe that someone with 1900+ posts and a pistoleer since release has never visited the pistoleer forums. Because if you have you would have seen on any given day since August 2003 someone asking or demanding our profession be fixed. Or at least, like your post requests, a timeframe as to when it will happen.

Honestly I have gotten tired of looking for an answer. Our correspondentsare arguably the best in the game. We have gone through two excellent correspondents and the third has taken the baton in great stride. But the powers that be would rather appease their fledgling Jedi community. And are racing to get the Space Expansion up and flying before WoW hits the shelves.

Oh yea, there is this combat revamp going on so that takes presidence.........ahh screw it. I need a drink.

lol i'm with you, NomOrion

i would honestly just be happy with a few prelimary fixes that carbineers got

but then again.... pikemen need some love too, and so do fencers i hear (i wouldn't honestly know)

i just really wish they'd make the combat balance a high priority and it seems as though it will be fixed on its own timeframe

i would rather they fix it right the first time, instead of have to fix it many times, long after SE comes out

i also wish that the combat fixes had been fixed already /sigh

but i'm stayin rather optimistic

Well the recent State of the Game developer letter said that major combat issues will be sorted out promptly, and that the major combat revamp is on hold.

I'm happy with that.

But you say that you use five pistoleer specials, please tell me what do you use?

Take the blue pill,Ô
Play SWG, never dual-wield your pistols and believe whatever you want to believe.
Take the red pill,Ô
Play MxO, and I will show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

SWG was never the game I wanted it to be, even before the NGE. All the NGE did is take away what gameplay SWG actually did have.

Stopping Shot, Fanshot, Healthshot2, Bodyshot2 and PistolMeleeDefense1.

Sometimes I amuse myself by using the PointBlankArea2 and PointBlankSingle2.
