Well sort of, depends on your point of view.

I'm currently Master Pistoleer/Master Smuggler/Master Teras. After getting my Krayted Sonic Pistol last week, I've finally used it going overt in Coronet, previously only used it in friendly battles.

I'm an Imp, the kill score after logging off was Imps 3, Rebels 0 lol. The gun will tear through armor but you might be surprised what I found out while using it.

First,Rebel I killed was unbuffed. Killed him in like 3-5 hits, well actually I didn't d/b since it really was unfair that I was buffed and he was not. Second player I killed, he either had crappy buffs or was just using powerboost in Teras to get better stats. Either way I killed him in no more than 10 shots. Keep in mind I only used LowBlow and Last Ditch in these attacks. Now the third player was a very intresting fight.

This player was doc buffed/food buffed, health, action, and MIND was at 2.8k +. At first I didnt realize he was buffed because his mind bar was actually more than his health/action bars. I was saddly mistaken. Using my Krayted gun I fired about 10 shots at him........missed 7 times. I seriously was thinking I was going down......obviously he was a defense stacker seeing that he was using pistol and fencer skills on me throughout the duel, and he I wouldnt be surprised if heused some dodge enchancing food. After using my Last Ditch and missing multiple times, I decided to go the route of Teras Kasi. OMG, Teras Kasi didnt do crap against this Composite wearing/Super buffedRebel. I spammed k/d dizzy, which I finallygot to stick......spamming unarmedHeadhit did not do anything. His buffs were obviously too good and his mind bar did not go down at ALL. I'm sure he also noticed my buffs were very good as well because after a minute of fighting our pools are still at max lol. That's when he started with bleeds with his mele skills. He just kept hitting me over and over.....I just kept getting messages "you have sustained more bleeding"...."you have sustained more bleeding" ect...

In just 30 seconds of those bleed attacks my health was at50%. Remember all this time I've been using Teras to try to kill him and his health has not moved at all! I decide to use my bleeds with the Krayt gun......OMG I killed him 30 seconds. I missed him half the time but every shot would do about 400 damage not including what ever the bleed was. His health went down fast.....even with him trying to macro stim himself in battle he couldn't keep up with me firing at or close to the speed cap. After I was done I stopped the bleeding with meditate, healed my wounds and went to look for more prey lol.

Point of the story, get a Krayted Sonic Pistol (mine is 18?-434 w/ pu) if you want to be good at PvP. You will bypass almost any buff/armor combination. With only using one attack I killed this player. This was without using the most powerful pistol attack, Last Ditch. Of course if this person was higher on the medic tree and was able to use 800 power stims.....I might have lost but then again he would have lost combat skills going up the medic tree so it might have been the same outcome.

Now all I'm waiting for is the day I can actually have more than 3 pistol specials in my toolbar that work correctly.

hehe, thats why I said from a certain point of view I'm good at PvP now.

My opinion: without a Krayt Sonic Pistol, Pistoleer's are worthless in PvP. There are no tatics a Pistoleer can use that will outdamage an opponet with Composite armor, food/doc buffs.....of course unless he is also a Pistoleer lol. Although I found out that Teras Kasi was also horrible as well, at least I was hitting him 9 out of 10 times with vk'sbut I missed 5 out 10 (on average) with a pistol. This was using Rouge tree in Smuggler with Master Pistoleer, I couldnt move his ham at all until I equiped my Krayt Gun and spammed Healthshot. Spaming a Random attack didnt do anything. I'm disappointed and happy at the same time, disappointed there is only one way to win as a Pistoleer, happy because I have that way

Of course if I was a Rifleman I could have just used headshot with a jawa, would have ended this match just by looking at him.

make money from krayts be the best at duels i must say its not very fair
