What r your recommendations? I was thinking CM, but it sounds like they might nerf that. What r your thoughts?

Go Master Pistoleer and Master Rifleman. Then drop Master Pistoleer and go Master Rifleman and Master Combat Medic.

you can fire you pistol specials with ANY speed pistol (except launcher) at the speed cap of 1.0
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY
get buffed everytime you log on(all 9), 2 sets of composite armor(one effectiveness sliced to near 90%, one stun armor; get a macro for both), crates of brandy, poison/disease resist food, vagarian canape, and imperial PSGs, migrate all stats to the mind focus and willpower, crates of muon to "heal" mind when low, crates of pixies to "heal" all others, find a CRAFTED geonosian pistol(this will be your best pistol if you get a damage slice), get a krayt enhanced Laser Carbine (for long ranged Fire Knockdown, also for spamming legshot2 or underhand shot to make use of Medium Armor Piercing if opponent is wearing stun armor) and a krayt CDEF carbine (for short range.. i know it sounds weird), Carbine accuracy and speed clothing(undershirt only, and try to get melee+stun defense bio engineered with sockets), aa'kuan belt for disease resist (when not wearing PSG), aa'kuan ring(two of them, for ranged defense), krayt DX2 (just in case someone isn't wearing armor, or if you don't to use the carbine against stun armored opponents), Health Poison/Disease pistols(for those long battles with heavily armored and buffed chaps; use health shot 2, switch to disease pistol, switch to poison pistol, torso shot repeatedly and you have all 4 DoT effects on health.
Many of these things can be used with any profession in PvP, but I promise you major success if you follow this guide! thanks
