Have you used the tangle pistol in combat, do you even know what the tangle pistol is. Go ahead and use a tangle pistol againt a rifleman.

Yes.. i have used a tangle pistol against a rifleman, not that the profession you're fighting matters in this sense. If you are well equipped/armored and adept in PvP, using a Nym's part enhanced Tangle works just fine. Perhaps the damage specs will be 250ish max powered up and sliced.... but it's stun damage none-the-less. Sure i'm lucky enough to have a craft Geonosian now, but before the loot came out i was doing fine.

on my server the DX2 whoops the scatter pistol without a doubt.
and the nym's parts i refer to...

found on Nym's Elite i think..... Morbus mentioned something about geonosian loot of some kind too.

I have to agree with all the acid armor, a scatter gun is a piece of crap. They need to give pisoleers,bh's carbineers guns that do stun damage.

Thats biggest load of bull**edit** on EARTH man. Tarq DX2 are good, but compare a high quality scatter to a high quality DX2, and its not even a contest. Its not as if we have some mystical stuff on our galaxy man, Tarq DX2's are teh same as everyone elses. I have a Nosup Dx2 made for accuracy, with the best stuff, and some damn good tissue. I ONLY use it when someone isnt wearing armor and I dont want to wear down my geno. And while I respect Morbus, as he makes some damnably good weapons, trust me, if Sup cant craft a better DX2 then a Scatter, it cant be built. I have seen none slice,d non-powered up 250-280 max DX2's I have seen non-sliced non-powered up 300+ max scatters. Simply put its a better gun, it has been since launch andit will continue to be. The devs made it that way. Its the same way that thte LLC is the best "overall" HW in the game, when you include its accuracy, speed and damage.
I beleive Morbuses loot is a single schematic, and some alky bones, hes charging ungodly prices to use. Not that I blame him or anything its just your argument is basically, "well if you have enough money all is good". Nym Feeder mechs dont drop as often as they used to, maybe you get one out of every 100 to 150 kills. Even then they arent THAT good. Pop on in a tangle, with a 35% damage slice, and a 33% PU your looking at 250 max MAYBE. Your far better off camping the geno cave for 5 hours and hoping to pick up a 200+ max and get it sliced, more economical in the end.
Not again that I disagree that we need our specials fixed first, but your argument is that we have good guns already. The real argument is a good gun is pointless if our specials suck, because our only GOOD gun is a player geno. Theres been what...3 total looted on Tarq. Thats what 15 of them total? I know the guy who looted one, and personally saw 2 of his guns, they are damn good, but essentially in line with a good Jawa. The only difference is a good jawa might cost 200K(if its REALLY good) probably alot less, a player made geno unless its GIVEN to you, costs several mil at least.
