Pistoleer Archive

I only have enough skill points to get novice, of one of the elite marksman profession. I have novice pistoleer, but I find it very lacking. Probally beecause I cant afford a Geo Pistol. For just staying at Novice would Rifleman of Caribeener be more usefull. Also I want to get into some light PA PvP, and so would rifleman be a better choice?
