Thread: What's the Damage Mod on Stopping and Fan Shot?

5x. Weapons in SWG also universally do 1.5x what they have listed in /examine, so to get the damage per shot for Stopping Shot:
weapon damage x 1.5 x 5.0 = damage
Last Ditch from Smuggler is 6x. You can also get the average damage per shot, of course, by substituting "weapon damage" with (min damage + max damage / 2)
Republic Blaster
60-200 damage (not the best, but not bad)
(60 + 200 / 2) x 1.5 x 5.0 = 975 (before armor, armor piercing, pvp reduction, and damage mitigation)
Just for kicks, lets do those:
(200 - 60) x 0.4 + 60 = 116(this is our new max damage after Ranged Mitigation 3)
(60 +116 / 2) x 1.5 x 5.0 = 660(average Stopping Shot damage roll)
660x 0.25 = 165(75% pvp reduction)
165x 1 =165 (no bonus or penalty vs AR1 armor, since the Republic has AP1)
165x .4 = 66 (assuming the target has 60% energy resist on his composite)
A whopping 66 average PvP damage with Stopping Shot (against this target). And with a 1.9 speed pistol, a Master Pistoleer would fire it every 2.0 seconds.

Oh, didn't see the Fan Shot in the title. Fan Shot is 4x, but faster (about a 25% higher DPS).

Ouch. I have never had it spelled out like that before. No wonder I end up flat on my back in PVP!
