ARGH! They completely ignored the community that is actively posting and still changed the titles from Master Gunfighter and Novice Gunfighter to Master Pistoleer and Novice Pistoleer.

Petition to have that 'mistake' reversed.

That's right, devs, change profession titles. That's what really matters afterall.

Why would they even touch stuff like that when there are a whole slew of other more serious issues with pistoleer?

Actually for this one i think they did listen to the community in some ways.

The original change was master gunfighter to master pistoleer and Gunslinger to Gunfighter.

There was a pretty big protest over the gunslinger change (honestly its one of the coolest titles in the game besides desperado :jealousy and so that apparently never made it to live.

Yeah, but I really liked the Master Gunfighter Title too....c'est la vie, at least there's Gunslinger

I had read that they were doing this. Gunfighter was such a cool title. I guess I won't be showing the Pistoleer title any time soon.

maybe they realized we weren't exactly "master gunfighters" the way they're programming us

It was a mistake, they're not changing it back though. It was ment to be "Master Nerfherder," from the start.

Does the Gunslinger title still exist?

Come to think of it, Gunslinger is a very apt title. We'd probaly do more damage throwing our weapons at the target!

See, there are extinct titles now. Some people still have the normal "Bounty Hunter" over thier heads which looks cool. Titles like Expert Bounty Hunter are gone forever unless you never change. "Teras Kasi Artist" is now gone too, although I do like "Teras Kasi Mystic"

Personally, I thought the Desperado title would be cool, but everytime I see it I can only think of Antonio Banderas singing Mariachi music.
