Sure its a great way to start a fight. When I would solo banthas I would start every fight with health 1 and 2 and I would get the same xp that I got without using these attacks.

Bleeds do not give XP. You must fire on an opponant with other specials or plain /attack.

I did my unarmed grind for smuggler by attacking Bocatts with HealthShot 1 & 2. Two bleeds, unequip the pistol, then fight it hand to hand. You'll get full unarmed XP even though it was your bleeding shots that killed it.

If you're using a fast scout blaster that fires on the Bocatt after the bleeds (you were too slow in unequipping the blaster) you'll wind up with low unarmed XP and 1 pistol XP.

you can still stack HS1 and 2. They don't technically stack, but run separate bleeds.

bleeding doesnt reduce solo xp as long as you hit it a few times (as metioned above).

In groups its slightly more complicated, but bleeds don't necessarily reduce xp, I think, but they may cause the share to change somewhat (like if you spend time bleeding vs. straight killing).
