^^--I use disarming shot 1 since disarming shot 2 sucks the ham from you and no difference in damage. To win in pvp I sugest... **burst run**, melee defrense 1, health shot 2, stopping shot,stopping shot,stopping shot,stopping shot....shor have no prob. and in most cases they die without deathblow ![]()
What do you mean "do"? Are specials supposed to do something?

disarming shot used to (august timeframe) work on npcs...you could disarm shot when they were 50m away, and they would switch to a melee weapon and run at you instead of firing back. they very rarely switched back to a ranged weapon, and always after 5-10seconds if they did at all. i don't know if this works this way anymore.

Kiernan, that is what I have been saying forever now. If its called DISARMING shot then that is what it should do. Not extra damage, not KD. If they don't want it to actually "unequip" the weaopon and I can think of a few reasons why, then do this. Make it a delay like warcry does. This will give the "EFFECT" of being disarmed. If you have your weapon knocked out of your hand that means you are not attacking for a bit until you pick it up or get another one. This effect would actually be useful and helpful to the pistoleer, OMG. Imagine that.
Why are the pistoleers taking the fact that it does squat, and think it's OK for it to do damage to a weapon? So what? does that really help you in the current battle, no not really. sorry but it wont keep people from using their great uber weapons in PvP. And it won't help us in PvE a diddly so its not a good idea.
Make Disarming shot1 a 10 second delay, and disarmingshot 2 a 20 second delay, just warcry 1 and warcry 2. This not only makes sence because of the "effect" I stated above, but is useful in both PvP and PvE. Its' more useful to a ranged combatant then a KD also. Who care if I knocked them down? If I'm shooting them with ranged all it did was make them harder to hit. Melee are the ones that get big damage increases when they attack someone prone, not us.

This would also make getting Panic Shot (which is a 10 sec. pistol delay move) pretty useless.
