Can anybody tell me how dodge works? I'd also like to know if there is a point when it wouldn't help to have any more Dodge skill? At master you already have over 100.

from what I hear the animation for dodged is screwed up. The animation causes you to stop or something along those lines.

If you are trying to get away from many attackers all that Dodge can be bad. You spend more time stopping to do the dodge animation it is very hard to get away. Fort Tuskin is a good place to see this in action. Agro a bunch of tuskins and try to get away without stopping to dodge, alot.

With a Master Pistoleer's+105 Dodge, you avoid about 20% of attacks. Philosopher stickied a thread about it here:

So as a Pistoleer, you can never have too much. As for stacking (if indeed stacking Dodge from Fenceris still possible), I have no idea.

Also note that you need to have a pistol (or a 1-handed weapon) equipped to benefit from Dodge. Pull out a rifle or drop all weapons and you will immediately stop Dodging.

In the future, I'd recommend running a search and especially looking at the stickied threads at the top of the forum. These issues have been discussed dozens of times and are sitting there ready to read.

Actually, I have read all the sticky threads and none of the answered my question. That’s why I made this one. Thanks for playing.
