I have a few Krayt FWG5s in mint condition with good, but not uber stats. Most of them were made with +45max -.4speed tissue.

Right after they removed the ability to use tissues in FWGs, these guns were skyrocketing in value. Average price being paid was around 500,000 and up.

Now with damage mitigation, I've got people telling me "the sky is falling" and that these guns are suddenly worthless.

I've dug through the forums here, and I can find nothing that would make them worthless. If used in PvP they will still be very strong guns, but against some foes they wont be AS strong because of mitigation. In PvE and against most NPCs they will still be the strongest FWG5 pistols you can find.

I tried to sell one of my pistols recentley and got offered 50,000 and 150,000 and I said FORGET IT!

What do you think the long term value of these guns will be? When I say value, I mean as an investment of credits. It cost me credits to get the tissues and make the guns and my hope is that they will only increase in value, but now many people have suddenly declared them worthless

the problem is that krayt enhancing only hits max damage and speed, which increases the damage range, which means its more affected by the mitigation.

Value is server dependent...I'm one of those who feels they shouldnt be worth more than 3-500k except in rare circumstances where the stats are just unreal.

Personally i feel they're gimped in PvP. And thats the only reason i had a krayt FWG5 BEFORE the nerf, was for pvp. five hundred thousand credits is just too much to spend on a gun for PvE imo...get a Republic

And I am in the boat where I have an amazing sliced FWG5 krayt gun and I will be sad when it finally goes but so be it...I am really hoping that they just make pistols decent weapons so that we don't have to spend 500k on an amazing weapon with an object that is incredibly hard to come by. Those Krayt guns are not nearly as cool as they used to be...that is for sure...

I would never pay over 50K for any weapon, ever. So that's what they are worth to ME.
