Thread: Armorsmith wants to beef up and quit being a wuss.. Need advice
I did a check to see what I can do with my wussy armorsmith. I have considered a Master Pistoleer & Dirty Fighting 4 Combo. I can do that and keep my Master Armorsmith.
The question I have is this. In order to keep all my armorsmith I must only go up Marksman 0 4 0 0. That means no Range skills. Will that effect anything if I become a master pistoleer/dirty fighting 4 player? I have to keep my vendors so I have to remain in the business tree of artisan too. If having no range skills will effect my pistol skills I could go up some of range and just not go full master of Pistol.
Any advice would be helpfull.
Having marksman x-x-x-3 helps alot. You almost cant be without warning shot in PvE.
If you plan on PvPing only I quess thats OK. Plus, youll get feign death for PvE:ing ![]()
The ranged support line in Marksmanis not needed at all once you get Smuggler Dirty Fighting line. Lowblow, Panic shot, and Last Ditch really kick ass in both PvE and PvP.

Master Pistoleer and Dirty Fighting 4 is fine on its own. You can safely drop all of Marksman Ranged Support, in my opinion.
Consider this: /aim forces you to come to a full stop in order to use it. As a Master Pistoleer, you are at an advantage running while shooting. Never stop to aim, and instead keep running, gunning, and giving yourself a defensive advantage while exploiting your Accuracy While Moving mod.
Warning Shot is great, but if you group, odds are that someone else can use it, if you even ever use it. Personally, I stopped using it a LONG time ago, because I could generally kill anything that aggroed me as a Master Pistoleer with Dirty Fighting 4. If you get beat up, take Novice Medic, get some Elite melee combat skills, and/or invest in some good armor. If you have Master Pistoleer and Dirty Fighting 4, Warning Shot and the whole of Ranged Supportis not worth the investment, as far as I'm concerned, and is more of a liability.
Bottom line - as a Master Pistoleer with Dirty Figthing 4, you can handle yourself in a fight. Don't expect PVP domination, because you've got Armorsmith sucking huge amounts of points from your template, but in PVE and recreational PVP, you should surpass your current wussiness in a big way.
warning shot & +25 to general aiming are both very useful in the short term, and the combat xp requirement to level those isn't steep.
