OK, i see these pistol skill enhancing plates selling on the trade forums for exteme amounts of credits. My question is, has anyone used these and noticed an actual difference in gameplay? It is my understanding that at the master level, pistol speed is pretty much maxed out, so I am assuming that a + pistol speed plate would be worthless. What about accuracy plates? Is it the same kind of scenario, or can you never have too much accuracy? Does accuracy just increase your chance of hitting your target, or does it have any effect on how much damage you hit the target for?

Basically i'm just wondering if I would be better off spending the credits on an uber pistol or on some of these skill enhancing plates.

Thanks for any opinions.

Not at all. As a pure Master Gunfighter, you will i.e. have +74 Pistol Speed, where as the "cap" is 100, so you're definitly going to need some plates to max it. I haven't looked too much at it on every stat.

I know the skill tapes work, but I'm not sure about the plates...Don't those need to go on Socketed Armor?

uhhh I'm Master Gunfighter + Expert Bounty Hunter, and my pistol speed reads +129, pistol accuracy +155. If it caps at 100 I defninately tell a difference between 100 and +129.
