Which do you think is more effective in PVP? With BH, I get the scatter pistol which was hit the least out of all the pistols from damage mitigation, eyeshot and some accuracy and speed mods. While with Dirty Fighting, I get a ranged knockdown, last ditch and panic shot. BH looks more cool but that's just a visual thing. Which branchdo you thinkis more effective when fighting another player?

Well I have the dirty fighting tree done along with smuggler. Panic shot and Low blow both worth 1/2 if that, but last ditch is ok for just pure dmg. The bounty hunter line would be much better imo. Not only do you get accuracy mods (i think) but you get multiple types of ham attacks.

Lol... Why master pistoller?

With the speed and accuracy you get from BH pistol you don't need them from pistoller too. Get BH pistol 4 and then your DF 4 and then 1040 from pistoller. That way you get the good defense line, stopping shot and a bit of dodge. Or forget last ditch and get more dodge.

You get more speed and accuracy in BH pistol then the whole pistol tree. Just though I'll let you know incase you don't already.

And yes, last ditch is ok but with stopping shot you could do without. Torso shot is good since it has a dot and targets one pool but stopping does more damage. I would say KD your target, torso them, then spam stopping unless their mind is low use eyeshot. I'm a BH with pistoleer and the only thing I ever use is stopping shot. I have to give up all of BH though and with pistoleer I'm only going to miss the speed/accuracy mods. =(

I used to be a 0040 smuggler and a 0040 bountyhunter, i realy only did that for torso shot but in PvP personally i would go master pistolnner and 0040 smuggler. Mostly because pistolneer only really get less speed and accuracy because bountyhunter has to master marksman i belive, but even then pistolneer get better mods like dodge and defenive mods, and fanshot it nice too. even thought bountyhunter lose the scatter pistol a eyeshot i think last ditch makes up for that and a republic pistol isnt so bad also.

oh and i forgot to add you getrange mitigration from the pistolneer tree, i dont know if you get any from the bountyhunter tree, so with smuggler you will have a total of 4 range mitigration, that IF they stack im not sure of that. range mitigration will be a huge bonus in Pvp.

Expert BH + Rogue = 27 SP remaining

Master Gunfighter + Rogue = 109 SP remaining

Um only good pistol specials:

Fanshot, stoppingshot, panic shot, lowblow, last ditch, torso shot, eyeshot

I prefer panic shot low blow and last ditch over any others, torso shot is also really nice for pvp especially against those that are unhittable

i had expert BH, rogue, novice pistoleer, novice commando, novice medic for a while. it was good before that whole mitigation thing hit. that toon was a great turret killer, but that's about it.

IMHO, master gunfighter/expert BH would be the way to go. seems like everyone is stacking tka/pistoleer or fencer/pistoleer, so you're not really going to knock them down with low blow. panic shot would be nice, but blinding someone with eyeshot or burning someone with torso shot would be more effective. like roccaboo said, some people are just unhittable. try hitting a blademaster or master heavyswordsman when they have center of being on.

Im headed back to my BH tree. It is just so awesome to have in PvP. I know im a dirty dabbler >.< but what can i say, it works (and pretty **edit** good, at that).
