Hello fellow Pistoleers, I first started this profession due to the holo grind but ended up falling in love with it and plan on keeping it on my character permanently. With that out of the way, to my real problem.

I just recently got Fanshot which my master pistoleer friend said would be very very nice for me to gain fast xp with.. i played around with it for a bit and i can't find any consistency on how to use it.

so how do you guys use this fan shot? aggro some monsters and run around shooting? i tried this and the problem that i was having was about 65% of the time the fan shot was only hitting 1 of the monsters even though they were bunched up together. Is it possible to use fanshot while not running? just stand still tanking and use it on 2-4 mobs? Also what are your favorite spots to use fan shot that nets some real good experience? if it helps any, i have a suit of 80% composite, my roomates char is a master doc so i can buff myself anytime and i use a 30% speed sliced krayt republic pistol that is 64-274 and 1.4 speed.

Thanks in advance!

Your best bet is to go on some sort of hunting group where others will "tank" while you stand back and shoot. NPC's aregreat candidates for solo fanshotting. As they will stand back at a range for the most part. And the ones that come in melee can still be caught in the cross fire if you line it up right.

Gotta line 'em up like you're playing billiards. So if they don't make a straight line between your pistol, the guy in front, and the group behind him, adjust yourself left or right. Forget about melee mobs though, they always run up and take positions around you.
