Thread: Double tap. whats the benefit?

So I finally got doubletap last night and im just not impressed. I can do the same or more damage with bodyshot 2 and get the benefit of it only affecting one HAm bar isntead of double taps random one.
DSeeign as how it cost me thoudsands more in XP to get it, waht is teh supposed benefit?
seeing as how fanshots getting nerfed thursday, it makes me wonder whrenter I should move on to fencer as my holocron told me....

Double tap just something I used when levelling up the Techniques line. Once you get Stopping Shot, you will primarily use that. Once you get Fan Shot, you will primarily use that.
Only time I don't use Fan Shot is when I am close to a lair or trying to pick off a single target with others nearby. It only takes one episode of realizing your fan is tapping the lair and swarming you before you learn to pick your specials wisely. 
In fact, all I use is Stopping Shot and Fan Shot, unless I am working over the health nicely-- then I use Body Shot 2. I also open with a pistol whip and throw some good bleeds on them to begin the dance. I use disarming shot on lairs. I can't think of the last time I used a double tap. If it did a dizzy or something, I would be all over it.

Well for me.. Using my trusty scout blaster.. I do Double the damage... Most times for me its stronger than BS2.
Now as for Fan Shot nerfing, is this confirmed... if so I am royaly going to be cheesed.

Yeah really... are they nerfing it, or simply fixing it so it does what it says it does in the Skill tree decription?

im confused, when i use fan shot, when there are a bunch of creatures around, it only hurts the one i am targeting (yes i know of its cone) while it goes Body Hit in red Leg hit or whatever in green, but no damage is done to the creatue other than the one i've targeted??? but it DOES tap the lair? am i bugged?

BodyShot2 has a damage mod of 2.1, and DoubleTap has a damage mod of 2.8
Double Tap is more powerful, but it hits a random HAM pool, so most of the time you're better off to use BS2 and just hit the Health pool.

Double Tap has no benefit. And, what's happening to Fanshot????

as for fanshot, I just heard they arent doing anything to it his thursday, but when the full combat balance comesout they will make it like its description. That is, just one target.
