I dont understand why everybody is always saying how crappy the DX2 is... its the best pistoleer pistol in the game... i was a BH once and of course the scatter is much better. but for those of us who are not BH, the DX2 rules. it does acid damage. acid damage is our friend. when i first picked up pistols people said to me, get a good republic blaster, dont bother with the DX2 or the tangle.... um... wait a minute..

everything and its grandmother is highly resistant to energy

few things are resistant to acid

nothing is resistant to stun.

here are my DX2 stats (unpowered, with speed slice):

min 104

max 193

speed 1.7

here are my Repubilc blaster stats (unpowered, damage slice):

min 67

max 235

speed 1.6

as you can see the republic has a much higher max, but a lower minimum... with the ranged mitigation, minimum is much more important than max

dx2 is king my ass that pistol cant hit any thing my dx2 hits like 1 in6 times and its hella UGLY pistolers need like boba fet pistols some this good.

bah, guess nobody will back me on this... but then my armor is full of accuracy modifiers...

I love my dx2 takes down those rancor like a charm, and i hardly seem to miss, and i have no attachments or anything.

honestly this board is filled with a lot of people who must stand around or run in circles....the Dx2 is a very useful weapon.....i tend to lean toward an FWG5 but i scored a crate of really uber ones that i'm still using.

Just know how to use your weapon...and remember. if that number next to a creature's name is lower than-20 you'll probably miss a lot.

Now if your'e going to be all wussy on me, i can write an entire essay about how to use pistoleer effectively (even without master). It's all about knowing your boundaries.

i will agree that when damage mitigation is factored in, the dx2 is best. but def needs some accuracy assistance :")

I don't believe creatures have damage mitigation, so you shouldn't factor that in those cases. In pvp, running is one of the pistoleers strongest assets. Either way I think the ability to use a dx2 at the moment is hindered by accuracy.

but of course none of this matters once the next patch comes out, so who cares

I insulted someone the other day.

I called him a DX2 pistol.

I said " You are a DX2 pistol, pal."

He was very upset by the harsh insult.

No kidding.

Ugly.
