Is there any point to getting both? If you have master pistoleer then the dirty fighting line just besuperfluous skills?

Have you actually looked at and read the Dirty Fighting pistol specials??? They are different than the pistoleer only specials. Read what lowblow, lastditch and panicshot actually do. They are all very useful pistol specials.

This is actually a great template.

Master Pistoleer

0-0-4-0 Smuggler

2-2-0-0 medic

0-0-4-0 commando

I also got commando to use a launcher pistol because it gets all the bonuses from pistoleer.

It's a great template. The Dirty Fighting line in smuggler is good and Last Ditch is awesome.
