I saw that it was fixed in the patch notes but I didn't expect the changes to be this big.
Old accuracy (normal barrel, normal scope): -11@8m
New accuracy (adv barrel, adv scope): +52@16m
With normal barrel and normal scope, a new DX2 would be around +30 ideal range, which is still much improved over the old version.

does this apply to all DX2s now, or just ones made after the patch? (I'm thinking the latter, which means i'm gonna have to reach into my moth filled wallet again :/)

Only postpatch guns get the fix. They figuredout how tolower the stats on existing pets, but not how to turn the dial inthe other direction, and raise the stats on our existing DX2s

Weapon changes are never retroactive, the weaponsmiths have to make new ones and you have to get them.

Eh. we got to keep our old FWGs, I guess this is relatively fair. Good news on the new DX!

Time to go loot more! It may finally be time to invest in a Krayt DX2 as they may actually be worth something other than a collectors item.

i have a krayt prepatch dx2, has similar range mods to the new ones, 155-331 1.6 speed.

I came across one of the new DX2’s last night on the Valcyn server. It was +16 @ 8m -all other stats were normal. The thing that stuck out though was the HAM costs, they were higher than on any other DX2 I’ve ever seen. Are we now going to buy this new accuracy with higher HAM costs?

That's a prepatch gun - the @ 8m is the giveaway. Postpatch guns have an Ideal Range of 16m and the same HAM as a prepatch (assuming identical materials of course). That prepatch DX2 must have had an Advanced Scope to have such high accuracy and HAM.
