I am a newly educated Pistoleer, Smuggler and Teras Kasi Master. Im looking for some tips on both PVE and PVP. Especially high HAM and resistance mobs. I have previously been Master Rifleman, I used to spam HS3 in PVP and spam FS2 in PVE .

I am looking for some useful combos, for example a good KD combo .

Post your ways

Anybody have any good experience with a macro doing a dizzy / kd with TK, then changing over to some kind of Pistoleer attack again? Seems like this action takes a bit long to do. When I were TK together with Rifleman and Brawler I used to KD with lunge and then spam headshot3, then KD again, to make him stay down. This were effective against other with the same type of melee/ranged or only ranged char as myself (everyone were suprised by the range of the lunge KD )... Theres no need if the poor guy are pure melee though .

But I am interested inn all combos, not just KD!

suppressionfire can be a lifesaver at times, giving you another 20 or so seconds to attack before they get close.

your best bets, though, are Pistoleer/TKA/Smuggler and Pistoleer/BH.

you said you picked up smuggler as well, in which case please never ever forget about LowBlow. It is a pistoleer's only RANGED KD option. You can fire this KD at whatever range your gun can reach (48m for most geos and 64m for most others). Usually I like to open up with a panic shot, which delays them, and then stick on the LowBLow. For some reason lowblow seems to stick much better after a panicshot hits.

Depending on the situation and the oponent, I will then either stick with my geo blaster, or go to my repub blaster, or rush them and try to stick an unarmed dizzy on before they get up. If I rush them with TK and they get up before I get there, I'll dizzy and lunge, then go to town on them. However, if I find that they are a good melee fighter, I'll lunge and switch back to pistols. LastDitch and Stopping Shot are powerful, so is FanShot but be careful with that one as you don't want to pull any other agros or your opponent's group members.

Also, make sure to make good use of healthshot2, as it sticks a bleed and does decent primary damage. If your random pool hits have made his mind very weak, rush back in with TK and focus on his mind. Same with the action pool. If his health is the first to drain, and he hasn't taken to healing himself, then you can choose to either rush as TK or stay away and finish him off with healtshot2.

In lieu of lowblow, you might use pistolmelee defense 1, which is a CLOSE RANGE pistol KD. However, I find that it doesn't stick as often as lowblow, and again, it is limited range, I believe the cap on it is 10m but I'm not positive.

The pistol specials I use the most are panic shot, lowblow, last ditch, stopping shot, fanshot, and healthshot 2.

The TK specials I use are, well, I use just about all of them as TK is one of the few working professions in the game.

Hope this helps!

When going up against melee folks, don't forget intimidate. With an intimidate followed by a successful lastditch ('cuz of the stun), you've totally screwed a fencer, for example. Warcry is also very good to use, and most Pistoleer/Smugglers forget about it. Personally, my major goal is to be sure and be able to spam lastditch at the speed cap. If you can get through defences (intimidate is good for that and so is lowblow) it's amazingly powerful.

/agreePeople who are smugglers along with piatoleer forget about the specials we can use with haveing brawler... I use intimidate all the time and its great. Low blow followed by last ditch or flame single1(have some flames specials right now) are my favorites.

yes mate i have one, you will have to check the syntax orf the comand because al of my singular attacks are macroed with loot adn deathblow but as follows i have my pistol in f8 and my vks in f7 i begin this combo with vk dropping tk amvoes as follows

/unarmedstun1;

/unarmeddizzy1;

/unarmedknockdown1;

/pause 3;

/ui action ToolbarSlot06;

/apuse 1;

/pistolemeeeldefense1l

/lowblow;

/panicShot;

/macro Bleed;

/pause 4;

/ui action TolbarSlot07;

/macro TK1;

/macro CoB;

the macros are thenames of the macros that have other combo s stacked, you must use the pauses to allow for the moves to excecute and it may differ to server lag. Hope this helps.

PvE or PvP, with the Triple Crown, from what I've found,your best bet is to spam last ditch until you get within asswhoopin range. Then hit up with the VK's, I wouldn't use low blow, unless they are trying to run away from you. If they are stationary, just shoot em until you can dizzy/kd with melee. If they are leaving and quickly, hit low blow to keep them from going too far, if you can get close enough in time to put the dizzy on before they get up, good. If not, put the dizzy on and use lunge twice, it will posture them down to prone, and that close, they can't attack you, so it's either lay down and die, or stand up and risk the dizziness tossin them on their butt.

Past that, PvP is all who gets the KD or mind poison off first. Then again, I haven't PvP'd in a while, I may be out of touch.

**EDIT** Reading the other posts before posting is a good idea, I just repeated what Duedroth said.

ive been a master pistoleer since augest, and have been doing nothign but pvping with the exact same template since launch, and i have become exceedingly good at it, but i als have an extremely large, expensive collecitn of pistols that i spend about 99% of my time explaining to peopel im not selling any of them and im not a wewaponsmiths (although i am co openign a WS shop ina few days to do this sort of thing nwo lol cuz i got myself a bit of a name for it) but im writng up a master pistol/rogue pvp guide on how to tacke defence stackers and melee guys to the best you possibly can given our lack of usefull skills and what not this is compiled as to what i find works excellent for me, but probaly wont work as god for u guys unless u get the high end equip too, but will make a significant improvement still. Its gonna be one of my famous like 9 page long initial posts too probably. i have it drafted, but im a bit busy, so it will be up sometime this week, but i dont knwo when yet. I list in it everything i use, how, and why. as well as what i do, and the reasons i do it, and the reasons why the thigns i do accually work often enough to make a noticable difference and actually give me the ability to kill master melee profesins and defence stackers in duels on ocasion
