In PvP, a BH/Pistoleer with Eyeshot and a good Geonosian Sonic Blaster would probably be stronger. In PvE, however, a BH/Carbineer is quite a bit stronger due to higher damage output, ranged knockdowns, and lots of state effects. (Both are still quite a bit weaker than most other proffessions.)

I'd say that carbineer would win in the power department, but pistol has style
