Hi,
just lookin at the threads and thought I'd ask the help of my fellow pistoleers. I just started playing SWG agian after an extended absence. I realize why geo pistols are hot, they get through the best armors pretty well, but what is up w/ the DE-10? I heard they are going for 5 mil! the dmg stats I saw are good, but not great assuming its energy dmg. Am I to out of date w/ this game? I am asking because I have the cash to buy one but want to know this, why would I want one. Is it just cool looking? My scatter does 150-365 1.7 speed and it was a common stryker krayt pistol back in the day. Or is the price inflated because the dx-2 never achieved high damages, for all the non-BH pistoleers.
ALso im assuming the AP is lvl 1

I can't address all of the items in your posts, but one things jumps out at me. A scatter pistol is not a pistoleer weapon. It's a bounty hunter weapon. From what I'm seeing, the DE-10 might be the best pistoleer weapon available. Oh, and DX2's blow because you need 5 krayt tissues to krayt-enhance one.

the DE-10 is slow, but if you have BH or some skill tapes, youcan cap your speed and deal some major damage with a 600+ max DE-10. and yes, they look freakin' sweet.
5 million sounds awfully high, but i don't know these things. i have about 1.5 millioncredits to my name, total.

5 mil is extremely expensive for one pistol, especially if after that you need skill tapes to shoot decently fast with the weapon. I think it is going so high because it is the flavour of the month, becausesome might say it is better then the DX2, orbecause of the way it looks. It does look amazing though.
