I know the republic blaster bleed overrides the health bleeds, but if I hit my target with a ...let's say a dx2 and hit 'em with health 1, then health 2 then switch to the blaster, will the health shot's still tick?

To my knowledge, you can hit a target with as many bleed shots as you want. The one with the highest damage will stick. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

i'm pretty sure that the "first" bleed sticks until it runs out. once it is gone, the next bleed you shoot will stick, and so forth.

but no, bleeds of the same type do not stack on the same pool. only one health bleed, but you can have health fire/poison/disease, too. or action, etc...those just aren't really available to pistoleers.

i believe that they stak if you do two different ones. Like health shot one and health shot 2. Correct me if I am wrong

It doesn't matter...the bleed on healthshot 1 is so weak its not even worth using.

Actually, about the weapon switching, there is a thing on TC that includes a timer for switching weapons. Same for armor. It is particularly important for the armor, as jedi could macro a "remove armor, force lightning, reequip armor" hotkey. I'm pretty sure the timer is 10 seconds for both.

Kind of lame for the weapons I know, and Bounty Hunters aren't happy. This actually removes an exploit, and that is probably the real reason it was done. But we're not going to talk about that or how it was donehere.

Randonb, it might be a good idea to bring up the idea of pistoleers being able to swap weapons faster than carbs/rifles now. There's no reason we should take as long to pull a new pistol as a rifle!

Actually, depending on your weapon's speed and your pistol speed skill, healthshot1 can be more powerful than healthshot2. See this speed calculator: http://killyourpc.org/swg/swg_dps.php

Oh yes, it isn't the first time it's been brought up. There have been threads in the past here about giving other weapons a delay on equipping them so we can truly be a "quickdraw" by comparison. I doubt I could get us more than a couple of seconds, if that. It would be for the principle of the thing, and wouldn't give us much of an advantage. I might try to make a concerted effort with the Bounty Hunters, as this is a large BH nerf. Their strength is supposed to be versatility.

This would go lower in the priority list, absolutely. They payoff for the required development resources is not a good ratio.I'll keep it in the pipe though. It certainly is easier to bring up now, you're right.

i think he was just referring to the bleed effect. pistoleers use it for the initial-strike damage, not the bleed so much.

I have heard about this delay already. I heard 3 seconds, but maybe its' changed, since it is in testing still. But what about the bleeds? When the Modified RB first came out everyone was saying that the bleed it gave stacked with the healthshot bleed. Is this true or not? If it is true, then what determines which bleed actually takes effect? Because if its the "last" bleed attack to something, then why on earth would a pistoleer use a RB? If the bleed from the pistol overrides our health shots, then the mod RB nerfs pistoleer. If that is true, then why the heck have we not been bitching and moaning about this?

Can we get an actual answer? Shoot maybe we can ask that for our 19 answers thingy? How do weapon bleeds work with special bleeds?

The reason the weapon switch timer is being introduced is because some professions (notably pikeman because of DoT NS lances) have an unfortunate habit of making a macro with said DoT weapons that can disease and poison many many stats in a short amount of time.
