oops forgot... How do you get XP for that?
You earn Combat XP when you defeat an opponent or destroy a lair.

So now we don't get combat xp from killing things with a pistol?
Also, stances and grips use pistol xp, special abilities uses combat xp.

Combat xp is 10% of weapon xp, so as you kill stuff, your combat xp will incrase, but much more slowly than the others. For example, if you kill something that gives you 3217 pistol xp, you will get 321 combat xp.

huh? You said "all pistol skills use same xp"
This is not true. You don't spend the same type of XP points, that's all I said.
Watch your pistoleers skill tree... 3 first columns Pistol xp, last column Combat xp.
Of course you earn Combat xp when using your pistol...

Atama you are wrong.
Stances is the only line in Pistols that uses Combat XP.
Grips, marksmanship and techniques use Pistol XP.
