I just now realized that in the grinding guide he uses quotes from Deus Ex..

How strange.

Han Solo: Well, you can forget your troubles with those Imperial slugs. I told you I'd outrun 'em.

[Nobody is listening]

Han Solo: Don't everyone thank me at once.

Deus Ex was perhaps the most amazing game I have ever played.

Deus Ex 2 was my biggest disappointment to date.

The second one would have been okay in my mind ( even though it was alot different gameplay wise than the first ) if the freakin devs would have optimized the code so people with 9800 pros like myself could get more than 10 fps.

They releasesED a patch that improved the fps but it still is no where close to what it should be. I mean come on, I can play Doom 3 at a higher resolution with a much higher fps than DE2:IW.

Deus Ex has got to be one of the best games I've ever played on PC. I even bought it on PS2 to run through again to get the other endings without the terrible incoming transmissions bug that lagged the game up. That said, I still think the Unreal Engine was a good choice for the game. The PS2 version was way too easy though, would have been much better if you could switch off auto aim and maybe have an UI to enter logins for the terminals yourself instead that being automatic too.

Deus Ex 2, despite all the changes was still a pretty neat little game. At least you got to choose a side in that one. The frame rate was terrible on my GeForce FX 5200 though, that game was allegedly optomized for Nvidia too. I've heard it plays sweet on the consoles though, really wish games would just choose a platform and stick with it. Oh well.
