Thread: Master Pistoleer and other oddities
Finally hit master pistoleer yesterday afternoon, with the help and company of the lovely Valkryst (Who made master about 2 weeks ago...!) , who even trained me after hitting the last of the combat XP. Many thanks oh friend of the nightsisters ![]()
Looka and Darun - thanks for some training along the way, much appreciated. Super people, a pleasure to be gaming with them.
Valkryst pointed out something I had not seen before. She claimed disarm1 was faster at taking out lairs than stopping or fan. I thought her crazy, but tried it myself rather than craft a straightjacket. Yes indeed, Disarming Shot 1 did double damage to every lair I hit !?...I will test on more lairs, but it seems it's hitting for exactly 2x damage. The # in the combat box looks normal, but the damage over the lair is clearly double. Anyone have an idea as to why or if other styles do this? I'll check more on it tomorrow. Very odd to say the least. Thanks for the input Valkryst.
I tried out disarming shot 2..definitely worth the climb to master pistoleer.

PS - I think you are doing a fine job as Pistol Correspondent. I vote we keep you in the position permanently.
