Thread: Two Issues to fix Pistoleer class completely
Given the fact that we can master multiple classes, we have greater mobility than the other weapon classes, we do not get hit with the dmg penalty that the carbine or rifle users have, I think what we need can be summed up with two small items.
1. Body Shot 3 needs increased damage.
2. We need a pistoleer weapon. The DX2 if fixed would satisfy this.
In additon to the entire pistoleer tree, we can also take CH, Medic, BH pistol 4, SL, and so on. If the devs would fix those two items, then we would prove to be a very versatile class with some serious combat ability.
I'm frustrated with the BH envy that has show on this board. Pistoleer and BH should not be in competition as pistoleers can train the BH pistol line and Master Bh can not train the pistoleer line. So in addition to the speed / accuracy we can pick up from the BH tree, we have our resists v. stun/knockdown/dizzy, etc.
I am posting for one reason. If we can summarize and focus on these two items, I think the likelyhood of getting faster turn around and response needed could be faster as focus would be applied to this as opposed to examination of other classes, balance, and other implications as a whole.
Ahh I almost forgot.. There is a 3rd issue:
We need holsters ![]()
I say that in jest as I know not many would agree that this is a pressing issue, but, personally I'd trade all future adjustments if I could just have a holster! ![]()
Highest damage I seen with stopping shot was about 2300 with my FWG5 so yeah stopping shot DOES do 2000+dmg
.
umm i'd seriously like to know what the damage on your pistol was to get 2300 damage. even with powerups...

The DX2 is bugged via the schematic for it. It's been confirmed by weaponsmiths. It's actually meant to be a more powerful pistol.
It takes several advanced components to make a DX2 and each one of these components can be experimented to provide better base stats. But when you combine them, only ONE of these components registers in the schematic.
It's a bug, and needs to be fixed.
