The title says it all, lets make better of such a useful dodge skill and put some style into it

Dodge being a passive ability AND something we can't switch off, I agree. I fail to see the tiniest reason an ability should be a danger, especially if you can't switch it off.

/sign, although I think you guys would be better off 1) making these petitions on SWG Discussion so others can see them and 2) posting these issues in reply to every Dev post you see. That's the best way to get the Devs' attention.


And just so you know, I've mentioned this issue in my State of the Profession Report, etc.

I dont really feel that theyshould change the animation per se... they just need to do what they do with every other combat animation and have running around take precedent over the visual effects. A very simple solution imo, movement should trump animations.

Maybe, while in motion we could have a combat roll that does not stop the run motion. Just a running animation, into a roll, then back to running.

That'd be really cool! They would just have to make sure that it didn't slow players down- which could be tough.
