not like Michael Flatley

The dodge line of skills is my last one to progress before reaching master, but even now when attacked i don't cool-ly dodge out of the way but start up an Irish jig!

Maybe we could provide some entertainment at Groovefests and the like... a linedance of pistoleers

If you want to dodge like Neo(in slow motion), just fight in Theed or Coronet. Lag will make all your moves look like slow motion.

Fight in Theed? I just want to know which class in Theed gets the /crash-to-desktop special?

I realize that Coronet residents get the /dropframerate command but does this really compensate? I want balance in our un-enjoyable lag pits, balance I say!!!

Yes, it's style I'm looking for, something slick.. not the slowmo bending over backwards of Neo. What we have now is completely unnatural. If I was going to punch you in the face I don't think you would choose a side step as a way to avoid it. Pistols are all about speed and I think a change of posture like turning the torso sideways would be a more natural animation. Perhaps there could be different animations for each type of shot. A head shot defense animation would justtilt the head over.

What we have at the moment doesn't really seem like a defensive move.. more like a sitting duck move. One which we have no control over.

I'm sorry that I can't think of any Star Wars references to stylish defense animations other than running away

How about an animation that gives the middle finger to the nearest bounty hunter?

hmmm SWG meets Max Payne...there'sa thought. Not only would the story be dramatic and dark but we could invoke bullet time at will.

Perhaps the animation is "balance" ......I have a feeling thats the line they will give us.

If thats the case, we should ask for the ability to "not dodge" for when we are running ect

Exactly!

Dodge is great but when you are burst running away from an attacker and stop to dodge there by allowing your attacker togain on you it is stupid. Dodge should be disabled once Burst Run is started.

The best place for this is Fort Tuskin. Try running away from 5-6 Tuskins shooting at you. You spend so much timeDodging them that you can't get away.

No, he actually has a point. Our dodge animation could use some work. Pistols, at least for me, are all about style.
