Hi there, Ravana the Orange Wookie here inviting any game-design curious people to join me in testing - I'd like to quantify some of the gray areas (like, say, exactly how much does Center of Being help defense, and in what situations), and am interested in developing some dueling macros so others can repeat our tests (and track the effects of patches/ect.)

my god i can't believe i missed that sticky post. I usually go to the TK/rifle rooms, I just stopped bye here and thought to mention it. I'm reading the post now but so far it's very interesting, thanks!

I finished the sticky defense post and most of the thread - I actually mentioned studying dodge in my post to make it pistol-related - i'm really interested in finding out how melee defense works (if it stacks across diciplines, what 10 pts of melee defense really means in terms of hits) - I'll be sure to share whatever I find. Thank you very much for what you've done so far! I'll keep checking the pistol boards to see what else you come up with...
