Thread: healthshot 1/2 stacking. Order preferences?
Then I got pistol melee defense and started knocking them down before using my HS combo. I'll get maybe 450 for 1 and 700 for 2. Nice.
I was wondering if maybe I should reverse the order. I chose 1 then 2 because for some reason I figured the first one might fail more often than the second one, and if only 1 was successful I'd rather it be the higher damage bleed.
Now I'm thinking that maybe the critter will stand up BEFORE I get the second bleed off and maybe I should do it 2, then 1, to make sure the higher bleed always gets in during the knockdown.
Thoughts?

Apparently, they're supposed to stay down longer now, instead of popping back up (according to this patch..?). If so, then if you wanna run in and KD them first, then bleed them (for the increased damage, as you shown..if this works) it sounds like you've got a rockin' way to increase your bleeds.
Good job! I'll try this out when I get home this afternoon and see if it works for me too ![]()
Usually I start a fight like this...
pet attack
health shot 2
health shot 1
pistol whip 1
spam fan shot or stopping shot
I figure I might as well get the higher damage bleed in first
. For easier enemies, I usually drop the bleeds and just do stopping/fan and knockdown.
I nearly set up a macro:
/pistolmelee1
/healthshot1
/healthshot2
but the melee doesn't always knock them down, and then I would just have two "normal" bleeds.
So I PM1 until I know they're down (absence of the fail message is better than watching for them to fall, they can be "Standing" again by the time you see them fall). Once I know they're down, then I hit the HS macro.
My question pertained more to the order of the two bleeds. 1/2 or 2/1?
RedLeader,
healthshot1 does not stack with itself, nor does healthshot2. However, 1 and 2 stack with each other.
A little tid bit of info:
Each time you get hit with healthshot it is supposed to have a chance to cause wounds. So in theory if you shoot someone with healthshot2 and cause 30 wounds and bleed for 300 (random numbers) and then shoot them with healthshot2 AGAIN...causing 20 wounds and bleed for 200, the 20 wounds should stack with the 30 wounds and the 200 bleed would override the previous bleed of 300.
However, the system is borked at the moment, and multiple applications of healthshot cause the wounds to flucuate. You might cause 20 wounds with the first healthshot and then the second healthshot mightbring the wounds up to 50 or down to 10...
Healthshot 2 first. hell, maybe 60 seconds later, you'll really need the bigger damage bleed to kick in 1 second sooner than the weaker one. Probably no difference though.
Bear in mind that HS1 has a shorter duration, only6 bleeds, while HS2 will last 9.
While playing PVP, I observed that when someone shoots me HS2 a lot of times, I get messages telling me that my bleeding is increasing. The question is: If we stack only healthshot2s, but more times, the bleeding is greater than if we stack 1s and 2s?
I am a master smuggler so I hit low blow, panic shot, health 2 then health1 and spam bodie shot 3 that usuly does it for me.
Thanks for the answers. Im putting the info from them to good use in my macros ![]()

Yeah, if the 1 second makes the difference, you're probably already dead. hehe.
Didn't know that about 6 and 9 bleeds.... hmmm.... think I'll make it 2/1 just for kicks.
This is base on my exp hunting alot of krayts so hope it helps you.
You will hit health shot 1 and 2 for more damage while mob is kd.
So I usually do melee defense1 on non aggressive mob then health shot 2 then 1.
Incase of krayts I do LB + PS + HS2 + HS1. Krayts have huge resist to kd so while PS delay them for 10 sec I spam HS2 until I get the highest damage I like than start spam HS1.
