Thread: Any Hunting Tips for the new Novice Pistoleer

Just wondering if anyone had some quick tips for a Novice Pistoleer that spent his previous life as a Master Musician. Any suggestions for weapons? what to hunt? solo v. group? anything really... Oh, and I'll be a Novice CH soon, so I'll be able to bringa friend with me. Thanks for any advice!

Grouping helps because you can stand at the back and just keep firing without (much) risk of being hurt. If you get a pet to tank, then solo can work.

goto Dathomire in a group of 3 to 4 and hunt rancors...a pet GSP or better would help a lot....i got 800k in about 5 hours doing this combo....

Dantooine is nice if you don't want all the hassle of Dathomir. You can use a pet or pull mobs of huurton and thune for 2-4k XP a pop, depending on the type, and the missions are at about 5k payout right now. Also, they have wooly hides which, if they are in season, will net you a pretty fine profit as well.
