Alright well, right now I have a FWG5 its about 50-250 2.1 speed Does anyone know what other guns I should get for PVP,,, I'm pretty new to pistols I used to be TKM//commando but wanted to try new stuff

Also I was thinking of making my characteR:

MasterPistoleer

Dirty fighting IV

and Squad Leader (( to help for my friends))

My other question is, does Squad Leader help alot in PVP? I will be mainly attacking AH with about 7 people ( my real life friends) and I wasn't sure does it help alot the abilitiys/skills? all work in PVP? like Volley fire?

well thanks,

Blase

I'm not sure about the squad leader, but for your pistols question:

I wouldn't use that FWG5 in PvP....one reason being that a LOT of people seem to use composite armor (often full or nearly full), and heat damage won't do good against that. Other reason is that it has a very low minimum damage. If someone has ranged damage mitigation, the maximum damage you can do to them will be reduced, so having a high minimum damage helps.

For PvP, I like to use my Tangle and DX2.

Tangle: Most composite armor has little or no stun resistance, so the stun damage helps. Problem with the tangle is that it doesn't have the best of damage, and it's speed isn't great either, but you'd be better off with these disadvantages than you would be firing a weapon that the enemy's armor is 80% resistant to.

My tangle pistol does 80-130 damage and speed is 3.2 I usually whip this out if I'm fighting a composite armor wearer, and for only novice pistoleer, I think I do well with it

The DX2 is also good for PvP (though there are some that love it and others that hate it). I think it has AP1, but I'm not sure about how most composite armor is against acid damage. Against someone in no armor, I think the DX2 does extremely well.

My DX2 does 125 - 200 damage and speed is 2.2 I usually use this in PvP against people who have no armor on, and if you're fighting at close range, it has a nice accuracy modifier

I just switch between my republic blaster and my dx2. Like the other poster said damage midigation will really kill an FWG5. As for the Squad leader business...I've got a RL buddy who's a master and he can really help out in a battle. It all depends on how good you are with it. System messages can really turn an unorganized force into a killing machine. Good luck with whatever road you choose.

Dont listen to these retards. Use a high damage/fast republic blaster if you are firing while moving or kiting a melee (low accuracy penalties at long range). Otherwise your FWG5 will outperform a dx2 or tangle pistol, just get a better one that is faster. Dont buy one slower than 1.5 speed or lowerdamage (without powerup)than 100-350 ish.
