Han solo weilds a pistol as does luke, and basically all rebel soldiers!!! They are the conventional weapon... and preffered to rebels you donst see Han weilding a carbine or rifle... SO MAKE THEM LIVE UP TO THEIR REPUTATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed, that would be the E11 Carbine, which is what we see most (if not all) Stormtroopers using in the movies.

Uhh, sorry to burst your bubble, but they only carry them because they are civilian weaponry. Rifles (besides Luke's nasty Tusken in ANH) and carbines are outlawed for non-military personnel. Furthermore, when they are in the Death Star, whats the first thing that everyone does in ANH? They all grab E11s. They lose their disguises and fight with the E11 stormtrooper issue rifle. The commandos in RotJ don't use pistols, they use larger guns... Sure, Leia and Han use pistols in the fight, but they are commanders, not intended to be front line troops in most military organizations.

And as for Jango Fett, I've got two points... The movies don't show him as the end all, be all bounty hunter, the books may, but they sure don't in the movies. Furthermore, he's a bounty hunter. You know, the torso/eye shot spammers themselves, not a gunfighter.

Come on guys, the incessant whining and nerf calling is too much. I come to this forum looking for advice on the profession, not posts about "OH, WE AREN'T UBER" or "NERF TKM/Rifleman". Lets be constructive here.
